about our
cookie decorating classes
Our classes are perfect for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you just need a night out with the girls, our classes are perfect for you!
We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a tray to take your amazing creations home in. Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to make gorgeous cookies! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!
Aside from having the most fun ever? You’ll learn some cookie tips, practice decorating techniques, and create your own set of cookies to take home with you that same day!
Absolutely! Many parents and aspiring cookiers love grabbing extra class kits to practice at home. You can add a take-home kit when you purchase your event ticket, and it’ll be ready for you to pick up at the end of class.
Not at all—no baking experience needed! I’ll have the cookies baked and ready for you, with the icing already mixed and colored.
You’ll learn all about preparing royal icing, the importance of different icing consistencies, and some tips and tricks to make your cookies look just as good as they taste (and trust me, they taste amazing)! Depending on the class theme, we’ll cover techniques like marbling, outlining, wet-on-wet, brush embroidery, and even painting. Feeling creative? Go ahead and make your own designs – it’s your class!
All you need to bring is a smile and a good attitude! I’ll provide everything, including my (super tasty) sugar cookies. Just show up and have fun! If you’re a messy decorator, feel free to bring an apron or wear something easy to wash. There’s also a PowerPoint for reference, so if you wear glasses, don’t forget those. And definitely bring your phone—I love seeing your photos!
By the end of class, you’ll have a set of beautiful cookies ready to dry on their own tray for 12–24 hours. You’ll also get my go-to royal icing recipe, a beginner-friendly sugar cookie recipe, a list of the tools we used, and some must-have decorating tools for beginners!
You can sign up solo, with a friend, or bring a whole group—the more, the merrier! When you grab your ticket, there’s a spot to list the names of anyone in your party. Just a heads-up: classes have limited spots, so be sure to snag yours ASAP!
We get it—life happens! That’s why you can cancel up to 7 days before the class. Can’t make it? You’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend (they’ll think you’re the best). If you need to cancel within 7 days of the class, no worries—you’ll get a class credit that’s good for 3 months from the issue date.
